BACK TO BLOG

I'm just about back to normal now.

EPIC FAIL

Damn! Didn't get all my blogging done last night. There's quite a few things i'll have to catch-up on when i return. As i've said earlier i'm off now on a little holiday in Scotland and will be without a phone and the internet for a week! ha! Have seen 150409's entry? I'm just gonna have to pretend i'm living in a different time, that reminds me..must pack my on-stage outfit now. Bye bye!!

BEANSONBREAD ON HOLD.

OLO WILL BE BACK!

Yes! indeed! When we return from Scotland in a week or so we'll be entering the next phase of OLO Worms! We have loads of stuff on the go. I won't go into it all now but if you really wanted to hear some new things you probably could if you looked hard enough. It will all be explained soon. If you are coming to Homegame, see you in a few hours!!

WWW OLO

NEW WWW!! It's not completely finished but you can have a snoop around. We'll be finishing it and updating more when we return from Scotland.

DIRTY PROJECTORS - LIVE (3rd April)

It was a pretty busy line-up at The Arnolfini Gallery, but due to the fact i was in a rotten mood i missed quite a bit. I did catch Matt Elliot who was playing upstairs..pretty good. Dirty Projectors! Yes! They were damn good! I really don't know that much of their stuff. I have the 'Rise Above' album but nothing else. I like the singer's chicken pecking head which made me giggle throughout the set. HERE is a video of them live doing 'Rise Above'.

OLO GIG SUPPORTING MICACHU & ZUN ZUN EGUI

SAT 28th MARCH

The Croft, Bristol
'How Come..'
Supporting Micachu & The Shapes, Zun Zun Egui, & Katapulto.

Great night!! I love Micachu so it was extra special to meet her and the band. It was the best i've seen them. I've not been aware of Zun Zun Egui for long but they're soon becoming one of my favourite groups in Bristol.

Our set went pretty well. Hmmm..what can i say about it? I can face towards the crowd now!..for a few minutes at a time. It was sweaty up there. I collected a good handful of the sweat in the divers mask i was wearing. The little goldfish went swimming! Local lad Big Jeff helped us out towards the end of the set (as you will see in the photo below) by holding up a broken mic stand. I felt the urge to stop what i was doing to take a photo, should i REALLY be in a band??

The song 'Sphinx' returned to our set after a long absence. We've been working on it alot recently and it's quite different to the original version we had played live around this time last year. WASABI!!

"Olo Worms sounded like Pink Floyd at their most bizarre, and had one member wearing a scuba mask and a lifejacket under his shirt."
